摘要

A self-cooled lithium-vanadium blanket concept of operating with 2 MW/m~2 surface heat flux and 10 MW/m~2 neutron wall loading has been developed. The blanket has liquid lithium as the tritium breeder and the Coolant to alleviate issues of coolant breeder compatibility and reactivity. Vanadium alloy (V-4Cr-4Ti) is used as the Structural material because it can accommodate high heat loads.
