With a land area equivalent to just 0.03% of its exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the Indian Ocean, it's not surprising that most of Seychelles' natural resources lie under the sea. The archipelago lies on an important migratory route for tuna, including the yellowfin, skipjack, and bigeye varieties sold commercially worldwide.
