The pressure values found in the current study compare well with to the barefoot running values recorded by Wil-lems et al. (2005) with a similar Footscan~® system. In this condition plantar pressure measurements contain high frequencies, especially under the heel zone, which should be taken into account for precise measurement of P_(max) and LR_(max). The combined frequency and resampling analysis indicates a sampling frequency of at least 2 times the 95 percentile of the 99% frequency power limit to measure LR_(max): at a frequency above 250 Hz for the heel, above 50 Hz for the medial and above 100 Hz for the lateral metatarsal.
