Tennis is practised by a large number of children. This sport is characterised by repeated high-intensity runs comprising acceleration-decelerations and changes of direction, which generate large biomechanical loads on internal structures (Abrams, Renstrom, & Safran, 2012). Over the last decades, tennis evolution required to increase both training sessions and competition participation to acquire technical and tactical skills and to improve physical condition. Accordingly, higher frequency, intensity, and duration of play led to an increase of injury occurrences (Fernandez, Mendez-Villanueva, & Pluim, 2006).
