HONORED: TIM CIPRIANO, executive director of food services for 20,800-student NEW HAVEN (CONN.) PUBLIC SCHOOLS, with SHARE OUR STRENGTH'S Advocate of the Year award. Cipriano was given the award for "setting a strong example for how school districts serving lots of low-income kids can successfully put 'real food' back into their menus," according to a press release. Cipriano was FoodService Director's FSD of the Month in October.
