Room service isn't a new concept for hospitals, but it's not as well known for patients in transitional care units. With the recent implementation of a room service program, residents of the 42-bed transitional care unit at St. Gertrude's Health & Rehabilitation Center, in Shakopee, Minn., have joined the "what you want, when you want" ranks.
