Jubilee year round-up

It is hard to believe that our Jubilee year is now coming to an end. Some of the highlights for me include: The Annual Conference in May - 'The Fantastic Future of Food: Celebrating the past, looking to the future'. The programme covered nine different fields within food science and technology over two days with around 220 delegates - an excellent start to our Jubilee year. The House of Lords Reception which took place in the Houses of Parliament in Westminster with over 100 invited guests. The Jubilee lecture held at the Royal Society - Mark Price, MD at Waitrose, gave an excellent lecture entitled 'Constant Values in a changing world'. For the first time, we broadcast the lecture to all of our regions reaching around 400 guests and an additional 200+ through the recording on YouTube. Through social media on the night of the event, we reached over 25,000 people on Twitter.
