A takeaway and its chef have been fined for selling a chicken tikka masala containing peanut protein to an undercover customer who asked for a peanut-free curry.A court heard "someone could have died" as a result of the error at Ratna Bangladeshi Takeaway in Market Street, Polesworth.The curry was sold to a Warwickshire County Council trading standards officer following a complaint.
