Apprenticeships created by industry for industry

The National Skills Academy for Food & Drink (NSAFD) has unveiled the first of ten new Industry Approved Apprenticeship Programmes (IMPs) for the food & drink industry which have been developed with input from right across the food manufacturing industry. Each of the IAAP programmes contains an approved qualification - either a new qualification specifically designed for the apprenticeship, or a degree put through a rigorous assessment process to ensure it is right for the industry. The supporting training materials have been developed and signed off by industry and lAAPs are only available from providers who have demonstrated delivery capability.
