A cheaper alternative to Coriolis flowmeters has been introduced by Burkert for applications where fluid density measurement is not required. The Flowave uses surface acoustic wave (SAW) technology to deliver precise flow measurements from a smooth, uninterrupted flow-through pipe section -meeting all the requirements of a hygienic application.
