U.S. milled rice prices were unchanged last week. Rice byproduct prices were mixed with bran $10 a ton higher, millfeed steady to $5 lower and hulls unchanged. U.S.D.A. 2011 crop world nulled rice prices were 15@21c a cwt lower. Rice was 14% planted in Louisiana (7% as the recent five-year average for the date) and 1% in Texas (3% average) as of March 18, state U.S.D.A. field offices said. CME Group rough rice futures rose slightly, mostly following moves in other grains.
