B&G Foods to acquire ACH Food Companies' spices business

B&G Foods, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire the spices business of ACH Food Companies, Inc., Cordova, Tenn., for approximately $365 million. The acquired business unit includes spices and seasonings sold under such brands as Spice Islands, Tone's, Dur-kee and many others. The agreement also includes Weber Grill brand sauces that are sold under license by ACH Food.
