TreeHouse divests plants, seeks buyer for R.-T.-E. cereal business

OAK BROOK ILL — Rich Products Corp., Buffalo, N.Y., has agreed to acquire two in-store baking plants from TreeHouse Foods, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The two plants are in Fridley, Minn., and Lodi, Calif. The facilities bake bread, rolls and cakes for in-store bakeries and food service customers. The transaction is expected to close by early April.
