Tyson Foods expands international footprint with acquisition

Tyson Foods, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire the Thai and European operations of Brazilian food processor BRF S.A. for $340 million. The transaction includes four processing plants in Thailand, one in the Netherlands and one in the United Kingdom.
