No-Compromise Plastics Recycling

The continuously operating agglom-erator from Erema, a company in Ans-felden/Linz, Austria, is a new, very reasonably priced plant for the economical processing of waste plastics. It was specially developed for the recycling of waste plastics in new processing areas and converts this waste into free-flowing, pellet-like bulk material. Heavily contaminated plastic compounds can also be processed, even if they have fragments of cross-linked material or non-melting fractions. The system processes waste plastics with high or fluctuating moisture content, too, with no negative effect on the product quality.%Mit dem kontinuierlich arbeitenden Agglomerator stellt Erema, Ansfelden/ Linz (Oberösterreich), eine neue sehr kostengünstige Anlagentechnologie für die wirtschaftliche Aufbereitung von Kunststoffabfällen vor. Die Entwicklung zielt auf das Rezyklieren von Kunststoffabfällen, vor allem auch in neuen Aufbereitungsgebieten. So lassen sich mit dem Agglomerator auch stärker verschmutzte thermoplastische Kunststoffgemische, selbst mit Anteilen vernetzter Materialfragmente oder nichtschmelzender Fraktionen, zu einem rieselfähigen, granulatähnlichem Schüttgut verarbeiten. Bewältigt wird zudem ein hoher sowie schwankender Feuchtegehalt der Kunststoffabfalle, ohne einen negativen Einfluß auf die Qualität der Produktion auszu-üben.
