The Shepherd Neame brewery supports a wide range of aviation heritage ventures and has launched a 'Mk. II' version of its Bottle of Britain Campaign booklet, helping to raise funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund. As the creator of Spitfire Kentish Ale, Shepherd Neame has over the years run a series of what it calls 'tongue-in-cheek' adverts based on Battle of Britain or wartime stereotypes - an example herewith. This landscape-format full-colour assemblage includes a series of really useful decodes of "authentic banter". Given the right target, it will make a good gift and it will certainly raise funds. Remember: "These were our finest ads".
