Petlyakov Restored In Norway

A Petlyakov Pe-2 nose section has been restored and has gone on show at the Norsk Luftfartsmuseum at Bode, Norway. The project has been based on the wreckage of the Soviet fighter-bomber that was recovered from the extreme north of Norway in 1989, and parts from four other wrecks. The plan is to restore the rest of the airframe in due course.
