Spitfire emerges in new livery

After a lengthy overhaul by the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford, Cambs, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Supermarine Spitfire lla P7350 has emerged in 92 Squadron colours. It had previously represented 'XT-L' of 603 Squadronrnand had arrived at ARC on September 29,2008.rnProject leader at ARC was James Gilmour, with support from Zdenk 'Eddie' Kratochvil, Tim Fane and all the engineers at ARC, with additional assistance from Duxford's Historic Flying Ltd. The fabric covering, paint scheme, stencil research and setting out were by Col Pope and the paint scheme was applied by Paul Ager, both of ARC.
