Duxford-based Hawker Hurricane XII 'Z5140' (G-HURI) is being offered for sale by its owner, the Historic Aircraft Collection. The airworthy former RCAF fighter has been based in Cambridgeshire since 1988.rnAlthough 'Z5140' is actively being marketed with a price tag of ￡1.75m, it is expected to be operated by HAC for the whole of the 2010 airshow season and the team is continuing to take bookingsrnfor the summer as usual. A statement on the HAC website says: "We have decided to put up for sale our Hurricane as a precursor to the arrival of our original Hawker Fury [Mk.l K5674], which is due to fly this summer."
