The Tugmaster was once well known as the mount of Air Commodore Allen H Wheeler, long associated with the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden. Originally registered to him as Romeo-Oscar in January 1959, it was built at Rearsby, Leics, as Auster A0P.6 WJ370 and de-mobbed in 1959. It was sold in the USA in May 1986 becoming N370WJ, the new identity being based upon its military serial number. It is now registered to Stowmarket, Suffolk, owners. The Cub was previously HB-OBP in Switzerland.
