Ju 52 and Varsity on the move

Amiot AAC.1 Toucan (displayed as a Junkers Ju 52), a long-time resident at Duxford, Cambs, has been acquired by a new owner. The aircraft has been removed from Hangar 5: Conservation In Action, and placed on Duxford's flightline. It is one of 22 that served with the Portuguese Air Force, some of which were built in France shortly after the war. It remained in military service as 6316 until the mid-1960s and was presented to the Imperial War Museum in 1973.
