Marauder gets its wings

Volunteers at the MAPS Air Museum in North Canton, Ohio, recently completed a major step in the restoration of Martin B-26 Marauder 40-1459 with the reattachment of its wings. MAPS' B-26 was the 99th machine built from the first order of 201 aircraft manufactured by the Glenn L Martin Company in Baltimore, Maryland. It was one of a flight of three that crash-landed in British Columbia, Canada, on a journey from Edmonton to Elmendorf Field in Alaska on January 16,1942.
