'Swamp Ghost' arrives at Pearl Harbor

Boeing B-17E Flying Fortress 41-2446 Swamp Ghost arrived at the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on April 10.lt had been transported by lorry and ship from California. This B-17 sustained combat damage after attacking Japanese shipping in February 1942, and crash-landed in the remote part of Papua New Guinea. All nine crew survived.
