Martin Mars destined for museum

One of two surviving Martin JRM Mars fire-bombers was retired in late 2012, after several years of inactivity. Philippine Mars had been undergoing lengthy maintenance and renovation, but in August its operator Coulson Flying Tankers of British Columbia, Canada, announced that the aircraft would be retired and flown to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
