'Just Jane' warms up at East Kirkby

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre's Avro Lancaster B.VII NX611 'Just Jane' was rolled out of its hangar at East Kirkby on March 12 to perform its first taxi run of the year. The bomber, which has recently received new squadron codes in tribute to owners Harold and (the late) Fred Panton, underwent preseason engine tests on March 4 and 5, and is gradually being restored to airworthy condition.
