Great War reproductions 'duel' at Stow Maries

A simulated dogfight between RAF BE.2e 'A2943' (G-CJZO) and Albatros D.Va D2263 (G-WAHT, pictured) was among the highlights at Stow Marie's A Time For Essex day on July 25. The aircraft, both full-scale reproductions, are resident at the Great War Aerodrome, which also boasts Europe's largest collection of original Royal Flying Corps buildings not to be adapted for further military use.
