Swedish Pembroke revealed at air force museum

Hunting Percival Tp83 Pembroke 83008 has been put on display in the Cold War exhibition hall at Flygvapenmuseum, the Swedish Air Force Museum. The aircraft served in Sweden from June 1955 and completed its last flight on November 12,1976, with some 3,872 flying hours in the logbook. It was transferred to the Flygvapenmuseum in 1978 and was on external display until 2014, when a restoration project began. This was completed two years later, with the Pembroke kept in storage until recently. Now on public display at the Linkoeping attraction, it has been returned to the colours it wore with the Nykoeping-based F11 Wing, which flew the aircraft as 11-08' from 1958 until 1964. There is one more of its kind preserved in Sweden - Pembroke 83007, which is on show at Svedinos Bil- och Flygmuseum in Ugglarp, southwest Sweden.
