REVILED at design stage, the de Havilland Mosquito developed into one of the most versatile and deadly aircraft of World War Ⅱ. It could fly high and fast and deliver a bomb load with great accuracy. Furthermore, its wooden construction allowed it to be built in furniture factories dotted all round the country and field repairs were relatively easy. Despite the ravages of time, quite a large number of Mosquitos survive and new discoveries are being made each year. The following is a world-wide catalogue of those that are known to be intact or nearly so.
