Just released via DVD, Blu-ray and digital download, the movie charts the course of the now legendary Polish-manned unit within the RAF during the Battle of Britain; it's based on the noted 1942 book Squadron 303 by Arkady Fiedler. Renowned ace pilot Jan Zumbach was just one of many Polish airmen who escaped the German invasion of their homeland, arriving in Britain to support British flyers in their fight against the Luftwaffe. It features actors from Poland and the UK, such as Piotr Adamczyk and Cara Theobold, speaking in their native tongues. The Historic Aircraft Collection's Hurricane P3700 was also flown for many sequences during the filming.
