Wessex airborne again in British skies

Westland Wessex HU.5 XT761 (G-WSEX) made its first post-restoration flight on February 15. The aircraft, operated by Chard, Somerset-based Historic Helicopters, flew for 20 minutes in the hands of Empire Test Pilots' School instructor and former Wessex pilot Capt Steve Daniels with owner Andrew Whitehouse in the left-hand seat.
