FLUCTUATIONS OF THE RIEMANN STAIRCASE

The one-sided power spectrum of the fluctuations of the Riemann staircase is calculatednnumerically and shown to be Lorentzian, like the one-sided power spectrum of thenfluctuations of the spectral staircase for classically chaotic systems. This result providesnfurther evidence in support of Berry’s conjecture that the En’s of the enigmatic Riemannnzeroes 1/2 + iEn are real because they are the quantized energies of a system which isnclassically chaotic
