The idea of organizing and attending a scientific conference devoted to “unsolvednproblems” is certainly unconventional. Often scientists are jealous and cautious (fornseveral understandable reasons) in presenting ideas, procedures, and preliminarynfindings corresponding to unclosed features of their works, i.e. in presenting resultsnunder progress, not yet “ripe” for publication and thus vulnerable to be robbed.nIn principle, not all “unsolved problems” can stimulate or excite the curiosity of anwide audience. Some of them simply are concerned with yet unknown quantitativenresults of a well defined procedure (experimental or theoretical) whose qualitativenpredictions are more or less expected.
