Delta 777 Thrust Roll-back Has Echoes Of Ba Crash

A senior US investigator involved in last year's British Airways 777 crash inquiry has met Boeing to discuss an in-flight power roll-back on the right-hand Rolls-Royce Trent 895 engine of a Delta Air Lines 777-200ER in November. National Transportation Safety Board investigator Bill English participated in the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch's analysis of the crash-landing of the BA Trent-powered 777-200ER at London Heathrow in January. The NTSB says English is "looking into the Delta incident", which took place on 26 November, with an eye on seeing if there are similarities with the BA accident.
