There is no substitute to a proper training with an instructor experienced on a specific type of aircraft. Broadcasting any sort of advice on recovery techniques from a spin is always potentially risky because it may encourage some pilots -to try the described recovery or give a false sense of protec- tion. Giving recommendations that are factually incorrect, illogical and incomplete is highly irresponsible and dangerous. One of the most difficult regimes to recover from in the Yakovlev Yak-52 is a flat spin. Opening the throttle during conventional spin, in most situations, will lead to development of a flat or aggravated spin. Experimenting with the rudder pedals and assessing "the greatest foot pressure" while the aircraft is spinning towards the ground might be acceptable for a test pilot with plenty of height in spare, but not necessarily for a pilot who got into a spin unexpectedly.
