NetJets puts traction back in fractionals

Rumours of the death of fractional ownership look greatly exaggerated after NetJets' record-breaking order for up to 120 Bombardier Global business jets. Not only is the size of the order remarkable - with the industry struggling to recover from recession - but so too is the choice of manufacturer. Since its launch in 1986, Netjets has not acquired a Bombardier aircraft for its fractional fleet. Company founder and chairman Richard Santulli plumped instead for Cessna, Dassault, Hawker Beechcraft and Gulfstream types.
