Sierra Nevada, Embraer detail Super Tucano bid

Embraer will team up with Sierra Nevada to build its Super Tucano in Jacksonville, Florida, if the partners win the US Air Force's light air support (LAS) contest. Sierra Nevada's role as the US-based prime contractor in Embraer's bid was revealed after the Super Tucano and rival AT-6 being offered by a Lockheed Martin/Hawker Beechcraft team completed flight trials in the evaluation process.
