Space Jet M100 takes giant leap with Mesa deal

US regional carrier Mesa Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding for up to 100 of Mitsubishi Aircraft's 76-seat SpaceJet M100 regional jets. The tentative commitment from Mesa, announced during the Regional Airline Association's annual event in Nashville, is a major show of confidence in the Spacejet M100, a derivative of the aircraft formerly known as the Mitsubishi Regional Jet, development of which was disclosed in mid-2019.
