Seoul used the show to unveil a full-scale mock-up of its developmental Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) KF-X fighter, with an initial prototype due to be rolled out in the first half of 2021. The model on display showed the aircraft's six under-wing hard-points carrying models of external fuel tanks, precision-guided bombs and Diehl Defence IRIS-T shortrange air-to-air missiles, plus four fuselage-mounted MBDA Meteor beyond-visual-range air-to-air missiles. Other equipment included a mock-up of a Lockheed Martin Sniper targeting pod.
