In focus: commercial aircraft fleet development by market group, 2010-2019

Looking at commercial aerospace's evolution over the 2010-2019 period by market group, the narrowbody segment has increased from almost 13,000 units to near 17,800 today. The ratio of parked narrowbodies stood at 12% in August 2010, and the figure currently represents 7%. This marks a 2% rise from 2018, in part as a result of the grounding of Boeing's 737 Max family.
