Comac's C919 enters new phase

Comac's C919 narrowbody programme has entered into the engineering development phase, as detailed design work continues. The Chinese airframer says the focus of its work has transferred from engineering design into development, including component and system integration, flight test and certification. Critical design reviews of the aircraft's systems are also ongoing.
