Loss-making Malaysia Airlines is being readied for a major restructuring in the wake of the 8 March disappearance of flight MH370, which undermined the carrier's reputation and hit forward bookings - particularly in the key Chinese market. The flag carrier is suffering the most challenging year in its long and generally unprofitable history, so "all options" are being considered by Malaysia's sovereign wealth fund, Khazanah, which controls the airline. According to Malaysian state news agency Bernama and other local media, the plan - to be detailed within the coming year -was announced by Khazanah managing director Azman Mokhtar on the sidelines of a conference aimed at attracting investment to Malaysia.
