Malaysia Airlines (MAB) plans to dispose of all six of its A380s in 2017-2018, as it takes delivery of four replace- ment A350-900s. Speaking to Flightglobal in Singapore, chief executive Chris-toph Mueller said the schedule will give the carrier "sufficient time to think of a professional concept to market [the aircraft]". This includes exploring wet-lease options, as "customers who are looking for a single A380 do not want to have the complexity that comes with crew training on one type of aircraft, or technical expertise".
