Opportunities abound in the Asia Pacific for Commercial Air Transport

Boosted by recent deliveries to both low cost airlines and national flag carriers, ICF International forecasts that the strong fleet growth in the Asia Pacific region is set to continue. Accounting for new aircraft deliveries and retirements, the installed fleet in Asia Pacific is expected to grow faster at a compound annual growth rate of 4.3%, more than the global average of 3.1%. By 2023, the Asia Pacific airline fleet will have overtaken North America with approximately 10,380 aircraft in service to be the host of the world's largest fleet.
