Tianjin assembly line will deliver Neo in late 2017

Airbus plans to deliver the first A320neo from its Tianjin final assembly line during the fourth quarter of 2017, having struck a tentative deal with the Chinese government to foster co-operation with suppliers in the country. The manufacturer says it could hand over the aircraft from October, but points out that the delivery schedule will ultimately be determined by the customer. Earlier this year, Airbus indicated that A320neo assembly would begin in Tianjin around mid-year, and at its US site in Mobile, Alabama, by year-end.
