South Wales complete the 'triple-triple'

Current world champions and national champions South Wales Fire and Rescue Service - Bridgend Extrication Team, made the trip to Capetown, South Africa to compete in the prestigious annual event, taking on 30 of the best teams from 17 countries across the globe.The team were challenged to tackle a number of difficult scenarios across three disciplines: a rapid event ten-minute scenario with one casualty, a standard event 20-minute scenario with one casualty, and a 30-minute complex scenario with two casualties. It was an opportunity for the team to display the elite skills they use in their every day job, keeping the people of South Wales safe.
