Well, it's all over for another year and many people I know are still recovering from the experience. What could I be talking about but International Firex, which in spite of some of the gloomier predictions fuelled by the recession and wild stories about the effects of swine flu, ended up as a great success last month. In fact walking the aisles of the exhibition and its co-located events you could almost be forgiven for saying to yourself: crisis - what crisis? Apollo Fire Detectors were drawing in the crowds with their regular hourly demonstrations of a new fire detection technology under development.
