Defence Fire Service awards

Following the success of the first awards evening held by the Defence Fire Service (DFS) and the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) in 2004, a second event was held at the DFS Training School at Manston, Kent on 13 January 2005. The event was a huge success and is now set to become a regular event. The event recognised the valuable contribution that DFS personnel have made over the past year to the fire service and the Ministry of Defence. A total of 32 presentations were made.
