We will soon learn the government's official response to the Knight Review. The sector's challenge is now to ensure that this is an enabler of change and not just the most recent of well-meaning reviews largely remaining on bookshelves. While the coalition has made it clear it sees that the majority of issues required sector-led solutions, there is an important role for government to play, highlighted in the Fire Sector Federation's recent response to the review.
