Open For Business

The FPA hosted an open day at our new Research, Training and Test Laboratory in nearby Blockley, Gloucestershire, on 11 October. Representatives from insurance, manufacturing, fire and rescue services, forensics, and industry associations including IOSH, the FIA and ASFP came together to take in a tour of this state-of-the-art facility and to get an understanding of what the FPA and our experts can offer. Demand for the open day was such that two tours took place, one in the morning and one in the afternoon with a BBQ provided in-between. For those attending the 10.30 tour, the day started with a warming bacon roll before FPA managing managing director Jon O'Neill gave a presentation on the past, present and future of the FPA's work.
