Semtech sampling first commercially available, single chip Stratum 3E compliant SETS IC for SONET/SDH Network synchronization

The ACS8530 SETS IC includes four analog and two digital PLLs (phase-locked loops) for optimal performance and supports simultaneous multiple output clocks with a choice of 55 frequencies, including OC3, El, DS 1, E3, and DS3. In addition, the new device accepts 14 individual reference clocks and generates nine output clocks and two sync pulse outputs. All inputs have robust activity and frequency monitoring.
